ClickTime and Browser Compatibility

We pride ourselves in maintaining ClickTime's compatibility with the most current web browsers. We're happy to announce compatibility with the recent updates to Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft's Edge browser. In order to keep ClickTime working smoothly, securely and to add new functionality, it becomes necessary to stop supporting the oldest browsers. Following in the footsteps of Salesforce and Microsoft, we are going to phase out support for Internet Explorer 11 (IE11). As of January 31, 2020, IE11 will no longer be supported for use with ClickTime.

Why is this happening?

• IE11 was released in 2013 and there have been multiple security vulnerabilities discovered in this old browser over the years. Microsoft will no longer be providing security updates for this browser for all but its newest operating system and we want to make sure our customers' data is safe.
• Our customers are moving to newer browsers. Use of IE11 by people in ClickTime has dropped dramatically over time.

What will happen if I don't take action?

• While people may still be able to access ClickTime using IE11, new and/or existing features and functionality will no longer be tested for compatibility with IE11.
• Bugs or performance issues that exist only when using IE11 will not be fixed after January 2020.

How can I determine which of my users are still using IE11?

If you'd like to verify whether your organization is affected by these changes, please contact us and request a list of people from your organization that recently signed-in with IE11, and our ClickTime Support team will be happy to assist you.
