Newly Discovered Flaw in Internet Explorer

Table of Contents

Internet_Explorer_7_LogoHackers are already exploiting a new and extremely serious security flaw with Microsoft's Internet Explorer web browser. If you're using IE (CNN reports that all versions of IE6 through IE11 are affected) and accidentally load a malicious web page, someone can take over control of your computer. This issue is already being exploited on the Internet.

Microsoft is looking into the issue and is expected to fix newer operating systems including Windows 7 and Windows 8. No fix for Windows XP is expected because Microsoft no longer supports Windows XP. The best short-term solution is to use a different web browser (Chrome or Firefox). Only Internet Explorer is vulnerable to this issue.
