ClickTime Reviews that Helped Us Smile Through a Bad Year

There’s no way around it: 2020 was a hard year. No matter where you were in the world, your life was probably severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, global shutdowns, and economic uncertainty. And although vaccines have given us some hope for a less isolated future, we’re all still feeling the effects of the terrible turn 2020 took. It would be easy to look back at the past 18 months and call it, quite simply, a bad year-and-a-half. But we also wondered, as a company, if there were any positives we could take away from a very difficult time.
There have, of course, been many moments we’ve all had as individuals and colleagues that we can be thankful for. But when we asked ourselves, “How did we do as a business in the past year?” we needed to look outside of our interactions with each other. Instead, we thought we should take a look at how our customers felt we’d supported their businesses in a time when many organizations were struggling. We took a look at ClickTime reviews from various review sites. And the sentiment we found there made us feel like all of our hard work — during a hard time — was worth it. So we’re taking a minute to celebrate those little victories here, to remind ourselves that even in a bad year, it seems we still managed to do some good.

Compliments from ClickTime Users that Made Us Feel Good...Even in 2020

To get a decent understanding of what our customers thought of us over the past year, we took a look at 50+ reviews left in the past year on several well-known review sites: While there’s always room for improvement, we were pretty pleased to see that, on average, our customers rated us around 4.5 out of 5 stars on major review sites. Below are some of the main complimentary things they had to say about working with ClickTime.

We Provide Data that Helps Our Clients Make More Informed Decisions for their Organizations

The insights our reports — custom and pre-built — provide for businesses was the number one thing people loved about ClickTime. In a year that required a lot of guesswork, we were glad we could help people make data-informed decisions to improve their businesses.
Tom, of web marketing services agency WebVitality, said in March 2020, “The data we got from ClickTime was instrumental in helping us really determine our profitability per service line, per client and per person. Before we implemented [ClickTime], we were flying blind”

In March 2020, Robbin, from Eastland County Crisis Center, a Texas-based nonprofit, said, “The reports needed for our grantors can be run in just a couple of clicks. No more pulling timesheets from folders.”
Customers like Roger, at building project and consulting firm Ayer Associates, tell us that the reports his company pulls from ClickTime are so helpful that they’re actually “pivotal to our monthly billing, and also inform our ongoing rates and prices.”
And clients like Nancy at environmental consulting firm AmaTerra Environmental, Inc., reassure us that, although our tool is powerful, it’s still easy to use, saying in January 2020, that one of their reasons for choosing ClickTime was that they wanted “to be able to run reports [and] look at data without hiring a person dedicated to run reports!”

Jason at information services firm Wolters Kluwer said in March 2020 that one “pro” of ClickTime is its “intuitive user interface for everyone who is recording their time.” Since ClickTime was easy to use — and easy to train people to use — Jason said his company experienced “a smooth transition from our legacy time [and] project management tool.”
Sonya at nonprofit Earthquake Engineering Research Institute seems to have had a similar experience onboarding with ClickTime, saying, “It has been a very easy learning process for me and the staff.”

While our system is easy to use and configure to your needs, many reviewers mentioned that when they did need help, our customer service team was highly supportive and responsive.
In fact, Natalie at nonprofit USENIX Association called our tech support our "most remarkable feature." In a review from January 2020, she says, "Any time I've had a question or problem, the support has been immediate and thorough. This is a rarity, in my experience, and well worth noting. Kudos to ClickTime for making this a priority and for hiring good, smart people.”
Julie at digital marketing agency Hedges & Company also adds that, if you're looking for a DIY fix, we also provide "great training videos." However, she's quick to add that "if you can't find what you need they are very responsive to email or a phone call. This is unheard of in today's digital world and sets them apart.”
But in addition to our friendly, responsive, and highly knowledgeable support staff and in-depth training documents, we also support our customers by working to continuously improve our tools.
