As powerful as ClickTime is, the real power comes when you’ve integrated it into your organization and its workflow. That’s why we’ve extended ClickTime’s Corporate version to include three ways to customize and integrate the application:
1) Web Services Integration
ClickTime includes a third-generation API (Application Programming Interface) for data entry and retrieval. ClickTime Web Services runs over HTTP using SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol). It’s secure, easy to learn, and it’s the most widely-used protocol for inter-application communication.
Now you can tie your most important business applications together, regardless of where they reside, to form powerful hybrid applications. Project management, Salesforce Automation, and SarbOx compliance applications can communicate with ClickTime to share data and avoid duplicate entries.
Developers can request our WSDL file, the complete roadmap to our web services interface.
2) Interface Customization
ClickTime now offers custom fields that can be attached to almost any data type in the system. If you need to track something that you don’t see in our interface, we can add it for you in no time at all. And that information can be included in reports, queries, and exports too.

Terminology changes across businesses, so we let you change terminology in ClickTime. Maybe you work in Information Technology. Or perhaps you’re a law firm. The fact is, every organization uses different terminology for its projects, clients, cost centers, or however it refers to its activities. ClickTime lets you rename its important data types to be most meaningful to you.

Help files are good, but your customized messages are better. ClickTime offers on-screen prompts that you can create for your own workforce on the data entry screens. Now you can remind users of your own company’s policies and rules right on ClickTime’s entry screens.

3) Customized Reporting
ClickTime's Report Builder lets you easily define and save your own reports. Select a time period, employees or divisions to report on, which columns you want, and how you want the data summarized. Advanced users can even insert formulas and graphs. Then print your report or send it to PDF, Excel, or a text file.

4) Data Export/Local Reporting
ClickTime lets you export small or large ranges of your raw data. For the Excel-freak or the Crystal Reports-wizard, this is where the magic happens. Just download your raw data to your local machine and go crazy. We support text, Excel, and XML in our data export.

5) Excel Linking
ClickTime provides managers with an effective and secure way to sync Excel worksheets with up-to-the-minute ClickTime timesheet data. Using the Excel linking feature, complex customized reports, charts, and graphs can be dynamically refreshed with just a few clicks!

Of course, all of this is optional. Many users find the features and functions
within the standard application sufficient for their requirements.
