Marketing Analyst (FT)

ClickTime is a Software-as-a-Service firm located in San Francisco. Our flagship product, the ClickTime Web Timesheet, is the choice of over 1,200 customers in over 50 countries. ClickTime is a profitable, management-owned company that was founded in 1999.

Marketing Analyst (Full-time)

We're looking for a versatile analyst to assume a substantial role in our online and offline marketing efforts. The position has three major areas of responsibility: SEO/SEM, List development for direct marketing, and analytical support of our business development efforts. For at least the short term, this position will report directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities:

  • Track performance and effectiveness of SEO and SEM campaigns
  • Adjust online ad spending to optimize conversions
  • Create and test new ads
  • Perform A/B testing for user interface designs
  • Write copy for offline advertising and collateral
  • Assist sales team with statistical analysis as needed
  • Support Business Development effort by analyzing opportunities for integrating ClickTime with other products
  • Track competing products and market messaging
  • Create custom reports and spreadsheets for ClickTime customers
  • Make constructive suggestions to improve the efficiency, usability, and quality of our products

[Since we're a small company (∼20 people), the right candidate will be willing to pitch in to assist other departments throughout the company.]

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or equivalent in Business, Accounting, Math, Stat, Engineering, or similar
  • 1-2 years of professional experience (Strong entry-level candidates will also be considered)
  • Superb skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Great written and verbal communications
  • Brilliant web-search skills
  • Basic familiarity with SEO concepts
  • Web authoring skills - HTML, CSS, maybe some JavaScript
  • QuickBooks or other accounting software experience is a plus
  • Some knowledge of basic IT concepts
